PARIS, ANKARA -- Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused France of committing genocide in Algeria.
A view of Paris
In the meantime Turkish ambassador in Paris was recalled to Ankara for consultations.
"France massacred an estimated 15 percent of the Algerian population starting from 1945. This is genocide," Erdogan said.

The ruling Republican People's Party has launched a proposal in the Turkish parliament, urging MPs to adopt a resolution based on which all those who denied France’s genocide in Algeria and Rwanda would be sanctioned.

The relations between France and Turkey reached the boiling point after the French parliament had adopted a law that envisages sanctions for denial of genocide against Armenians in 1915.

Turkish Ambassador to France Tahsin Burcuoglu left Paris this morning after the Turkish government had recalled him “for consultations”.

“We are very sad. The Franco-Turkish relations did not deserve this but the damage has already been done,” he said just before he left for Ankara.

The French law has “struck a nerve” since Turkey denies committing the genocide and claims that mass killings in 1915 were a result of WWI.

The French parliament adopted the law that envisaged fines up to EUR 45,000 and up to a year in prison for all those who deny that the genocide was committed against the Armenians.

In Paris, Foreign Minister Alain Juppe termed Turkey’s decision regrettable, and urged the country not to “overreact.”

He said that France had not considered recalling its ambassador from Turkey.

“What I wish is that our Turkish friends will not overreact to this decision by the French National Assembly,” Juppe stressed.

France recognized the 1915 killings as genocide in 2001.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian thanked France, which had "once again proved its commitment to universal human values".

MOSCOW -- Russian investigative bodies have sent President Dmitry Medvedev their preliminary report on election irregularities during the recent campaign and voting.
Dmitry Medvedev (file)

They compiled a total of 2,091 instances of violations of election regulations, a majority in Moscow - 462.
Most complaints regarding election irregularities were submitted by the Just Russia and the Communist Party of Russia.

It has also been announced in Moscow that 53 criminal complaints were filed, and that investigators are looking into nine cases of election results forgery, five cases of ballot box stuffing, and five voter bribery reports.

The United Russia party won the elections held earlier this month taking 49 percent of the votes, but opposition parties accused the authorities of election fraud.

Opposition observers said that they saw many instances of breaches of election procedures, and posted videos on the internet.

Medvedev and Central Election Committee President Vladimir Churov, however, expressed their doubt about the authenticity of the video material made public in this way.

PYONGYANG -- North Korean leader Kim Jong Il died on Saturday morning at the age of 69, state television reported from Pyongyang on Monday.
Kim Jong Il

The veteran leader died on December 17 at 8:30 local time on a train trip, a weeping announcer said, saying that he had died of fatigue.
The news came in a "special broadcast" by Pyongyang early on Monday. It had previously been expected that the announcement would relate to media reports in South Korea that the North has agreed to suspend its uranium enrichment program.

A few hours after the announcement of Kim Jong Il's death, North Korea's official state news agency KCNA declared his youngest son, Kim Jong un as the "great successor to the revolutionary cause of Juche and outstanding leader of our party, army and people."

Juche is Pyongyang's political ideology of self-reliance.

Kim Jong Un had been seen as the leader-in-waiting after being appointed to a senior military post and political post in 2010.

South Korea's military was placed on high alert Monday, but said it had detected no signs of unusual movement by the North's military following news of the death.

South Korean President Lee Myung-bak discussed the situation in a telephone conversation with his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama.

"The president reaffirmed the U.S.' strong commitment to the stability of the Korean peninsula and the security of our close ally, the Republic of Korea," the White House said in a statement.

"The two leaders agreed to stay in close touch as the situation develops and agreed they would direct their national security teams to continue close coordination."

Kim Jong Il is believed to have suffered a stroke in 2008. However, he had appeared relatively healthy in recent photos and video from recent trips to China and Russia.

The man known as the "Dear Leader" in North Korea is thought to have had a taste for cigars, cognac and gourmet cuisine. Some reports claim he had diabetes and heart disease.

He came to power following the sudden death of his father, the "Great Leader," Kim Il Sung in 1994.

KCNA reported that a period of national morning had been declared to run until December 29. Kim Jong Un is to head the committee to organize his father's funeral, which is to be held on December 28.

MOSCOW -- Nationwide protests against election results are taking place in Russia today, with demonstrators angry at Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and his United Russia.

Thirty thousand people are expected to gather in Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square to show their indignation for a ballot many consider to have been fraudulent.
Officials have given permission for this rally across the Moscow River from the Kremlin, but security is high with at least 50,000 police on duty.

In the eastern city of Vladivostok, eight time zones ahead of Moscow, hundreds of people gathered in one of the protests planned for many cities across the country. Many of them support the Communist Party and a local opposition group called Tiger.

Whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange may be extradited to Sweden to face allegations of sex crimes, a British court ruled Wednesday.

Swedish authorities want to question the 40-year-old on accusations by two female WikiLeaks volunteers that he broke Sweden's laws governing sexual consent during a week-long visit to Stockholm in August 2010.
One woman accuses Assange of sexually molesting her by ignoring her request for him to use a condom during sex. The second woman says he had sex with her while she was asleep, and that he was not wearing a condom - an allegation which falls into the least severe of three rape categories in Sweden.

Assange, who has spent much of the year under house arrest at a supporter's villa in England, denies any wrongdoing and says he would not receive a fair trial in Sweden. He claims the allegations are political, relating to WikiLeaks' publication of more than 250,000 U.S. diplomatic cables and other secret documents.

Assange was arrested in Britain in December 2010 after Sweden issued a European arrest warrant. Wednesday's ruling upholds a previous court decision in February that found his extradition to Sweden to be legal.

The extradition could take place within two weeks if he does not lodge a further appeal against the decision.

SABHA -- Provisional authority officials in Libya say their forces have taken control of most of the city of Sabha - one of the last strongholds of Muammar Gaddafi.

National Transitional Council (NTC) officials said Wednesday that anti-Gaddafi fighters are still encountering some resistance, but have largely taken over the city.

As provisional authority forces struggle to oust Gaddafi loyalists from the towns of Bani Walid and Sirte, Libya's interim prime minister says his administration is working to form a new government.

Mahmoud Jibril told reporters Tuesday in New York the move will come within the next seven to 10 days. He said the NTC is finalizing decisions on the exact number of ministries and whether they would all be located in the capital, Tripoli, or divided between eastern and western Libya.

The NTC was based in the eastern stronghold of Benghazi during most of the country's ongoing civil war.

Libya's new flag flew at the UN Tuesday for the first time since the former leader’s ouster. UN Chief Ban Ki-moon welcomed the country's new leaders into the international community, saying the Security Council acted to protect the Libyan people from violence.

U.S. President Barack Obama, also in New York for the General Assembly, said his administration will support Libya as its government works to build a "free, democratic and prosperous" future. He said Libya will have a "friend and partner" to assist its citizens as they transition to democracy.

Earlier Tuesday, the 54-member African Union officially recognized the NTC and announced its support in building an inclusive government in Libya. The AU had been reluctant to recognize the provisional authority because some AU nations had close ties to Gaddafi.

Im bringing back one of my old post since summer is close and i would like for everyone to be aware that they can use this to improve their already good physique's.

First of all id like to say i didnt write this article , i found it on T - Nation.I found it to be very helpfull thing when u want to get extra lean for pool/partys or what ever.

Shredded in 6 days
Your Guide to Level 4 Leanness

Are you fat or are you lean? What do you mean you're not sure? You're not fat, but you're not exactly ripped either? Somewhere in the middle?
Many people have the same problem, even those who train hard and watch their diets. They're probably what we call "levels 2's" — certainly not fat, but not exactly cut either.
You see, we believe there's more than one level of leanness. And there's a big difference between being "not fat" and being jaw-dropping shredded.

The 4 Levels of Leanness
Here are the levels below. We've tried to find a physique photo that somewhat represents each level:

Level 4 leanness involves not only a very low level of body fat, but also a certain extent of "dryness." This is a term that comes from competitive bodybuilding. Bodybuilders manipulate their water intake and carb intake, then take diuretics (both herbal and/or pharmaceutical) to get rid of "water weight."
The goal of this peaking procedure is to minimize subcutaneous water (just beneath the skin) while keeping the muscle as full as possible. This combination will allow a bodybuilder to "pump up" before the show and look his best. A full muscle will "push" against the skin, and if there's no water between the muscle and skin... voilà: separated and full muscle bellies.

It's very, very tricky, and the difference between first and fifth place often comes down to which guy gets his final week of "drying out" right and which one screws it up.
In the non-bodybuilding world, actors often use these fluid manipulation techniques before a shirtless scene or photo shoot in order to look their leanest. We don't know for sure, but we bet Ryan Reynolds did something like this for his infamous display of low body fat in the movie Blade Trinity.

Accidentally Ripped?
A lot of times we "accidentally" manipulate our subcutaneous fluid levels. Ever wake up one day, catch a glimpse of yourself in the bathroom mirror and think, "Wow, I'm ripped!" Then, two days later, you look in the mirror again and look "fat" or at least softer and kinda bloated?
Obviously you didn't gain that much adipose tissue in two days. The reverse wouldn't happen either: you can't go to bed chubby and wake up lean. Yet something is happening, and it's visible to the naked eye.
Most of the time (barring a mild allergic reaction or something) this is due to "water weight" fluctuations. You just happened to eat and drink a certain way, or train a certain way, that leads to you dropping or retaining a couple of pounds of fluid.
Well, below we'll tell you step by step how to drop several pounds of water and get that ripped look on purpose. It ain't exactly easy, but the results can be quite dramatic!

Real World Water Manipulation
By adopting a trick or two from competitive bodybuilders, you can learn to control this phenomenon and use it tactically when you want to look your leanest. It could be used to "peak" before a day at the pool or the beach, for example.
The tricks and techniques contained in this article are designed to get you from Level 2 to Level 3, or from Level 3 to Level 4. Most people will drop several pounds of water weight in just six days, causing them to look leaner and, if done correctly, more vascular and pumped.
Warning: These techniques will not make you look "ripped" if you're fat! While most people can drop a pound of fat along with the water in these six days, this is not primarily a "diet." It's designed to help already lean people get super lean, to basically bump from one level of leanness to the next.
But if you're just plain chubby, then this is not the program for you. Lose the fat first, then worry about subcutaneous water, tubby!

Overview
There are three main factors we're going to be manipulating here to cause your body to dump water fast:

The Level 4 Leanness Plan
This schedule assumes a Saturday bodybuilding competition, photo shoot, or day at the beach.
Monday: 2.5 to 3 gallons of water, 50g of carbs or less
Tuesday: Same
Wednesday: Same
Thursday: Same
Friday: Begin a gradual carb-up. Today eat five or six meals, each containing 50-75g of carbs.
In the first one or two meals, have fruits as your main carb source. Starting the carb-up with fruit replenishes liver glycogen very fast. We believe that the faster liver glycogen is filled, the more effective the rest of the carb-up will be.
For meals three and four, move to starchier, faster-absorbing carbs (yams, potatoes, rice if it's tolerated well). Meal four should be at 4PM.
Now the "fun" begins. Water intake should be cut completely at 4 or 5PM. One or two more meals should be consumed after you cut water. Have only one if you're already looking "full." Have two if not. These meals should contains carbs derived from simple sugars: pancakes and syrup, pie filling, waffles, chocolate, etc.
Along with this simple sugar meal, have two tablespoons of vegetable glycerine (found in most health food stores). Also on Friday, take an herbal diuretic such as Taraxatone. Although the proper thing to do is go by the label directions with these type of products, best results are usually achieved by taking three servings on Friday: one about an hour or two before you cut water intake, one when you cut intake, and one before bed.
Another trick is to take an Epsom salt bath (400g of Epsom salt in very hot water) for 20-30 minutes before bed. This is what European bodybuilders did to help shed water before diuretics became popular. (The salt and mega hot bat drastically increase perspiration.)
Saturday (photo or beach day): Breakfast depends on how you look.
Forty-five minutes before pumping up for your shoot, take in two tablespoons of glycerol in one can of full-sugar soda.
